Curious About RFC?
Have questions about RFC and how it works? Find the answers here!
How Do I Get Started?
It’s simple for both fans and artists.
- Artists: Create a free wallet, generate a QR code, add it to your promo materials, and start collecting RiffCoin tips and payments.
- Fans: Create a wallet, buy RFC at riffcoin.ca/buy, get a bit of BNB at riffcoin.ca/buybnb for network fees, then scan the artist’s QR code to send them RiffCoin.
No risk. No crypto knowledge needed. Just a better way to support artists.
I can't see my RFC in my wallet, why?
There are two common reasons:
- Wrong network: Make sure your wallet is set to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) — not the default Ethereum (ERC).
- Token not added yet: Since RFC is new, wallets like MetaMask don’t show it by default.
To fix this, import RFC as a custom token using this contract address:0x4AefFfAc033672a030777fBE8Da2a0E09a02aE56
Once added, you’ll see your RFC balance. This extra step won’t be needed once RFC is more widely recognized.
What is RFC?
RiffCoin (RFC) is a cryptocurrency made for musicians. Fans use it to tip, pay for music, merch, or requests — just like cash, but with the potential to grow in value over time. It’s a simple, direct way to support artists long-term.
How do I buy RFC?
Go to riffcoin.ca/buy and use your debit or credit card to purchase RFC through our trusted Wert integration — no crypto experience needed.
Do I need a special wallet to store RFC?
No special wallet is needed — popular options like MetaMask and Trust Wallet work perfectly.
Just make sure your wallet is set to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network, not the default Ethereum (ERC) network. RiffCoin runs on BSC to keep transaction fees low.
Can I use RFC for anything other than tipping?
Yes. While RFC was created to help fans support artists, it’s still a cryptocurrency — so it can be used like any other crypto.
How it’s accepted depends on the artist. Some may only take tips, others might accept RFC for merch, tickets, song requests, or exclusive content. It’s up to each artist how they want to use it.
Is RFC an investment?
No — RFC is not meant to be an investment. It’s designed for fans to support artists in a way that can grow in value for the artist over time.
That said, RFC is still a cryptocurrency, and some people may choose to treat it like one. But its purpose and structure are focused on long-term artist support, not speculation.
How do I send RFC to an artist?
Scan the artist’s QR code — your wallet app will open with their address pre-filled. Just enter how much RFC you want to send and confirm.
⚠️ Important: You must have a small amount of BNB in your wallet to cover gas fees. Without BNB, the transaction will fail.
You can buy BNB at riffcoin.ca/buybnb. Even $5–$10 is enough for dozens of transactions, since gas fees are just a few cents.
What happens if RFC’s value goes up or down?
For fans: It doesn’t really matter — if you tip $10 worth of RFC, you've supported the artist with $10, just like cash.
For artists: The value of the RFC you receive may go up or down over time. With more adoption and consistent tipping, the price may rise. Price drops usually happen when RFC is sold for cash — like any crypto, it's driven by supply and demand on exchanges like PancakeSwap.
How can I ensure the security of my RFC?
- Secure your recovery phrase: Store it offline and never share it.
- Never share private keys: No one from RiffCoin will ever ask for them.
- Enable 2FA: If available, turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.
Can I convert RFC back to cash
Yes. You can swap RFC for USDT on PancakeSwap, then send the USDT to an exchange like Coinbase or Binance to convert it into cash and withdraw to your bank.
Are there fees when buying or transferring RFC?
Yes, but they’re low and go back into supporting the RFC ecosystem:
Wert purchases: A small fee is charged for using debit/credit — this goes to Wert for their service.
Network fees: The BSC network charges a gas fee, usually just a few cents per transaction.
PancakeSwap: A small fee is charged when swapping — a portion helps stabilize RFC pricing.
RFC smart contract fee (3%):
1% goes to all RFC holders (the more you hold, the more you earn).
1% goes to the Community Wallet to grow the ecosystem.
1% goes to the Artists Wallet to support artist adoption.
How can I keep track of RFC’s value?
You can check RFC’s current price on PancakeSwap, or use crypto tracking sites like CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko for real-time data and price history.
Do I need to be tech-savvy to use RFC?
Nope. It’s easy for both fans and artists.
Artists: Create a free wallet, generate your QR code, and share it with fans.
Fans: Create a wallet, buy RFC and a little BNB, then scan the artist’s QR code and send your tip.
No crypto experience needed — it’s designed to be simple.
What should I do if I lose access to my wallet or recovery phrase?
If you lose your recovery phrase, you lose access to your RFC — permanently. There’s no way to recover it.
Always store your recovery phrase offline in a safe place. Never share it, and never store it digitally where it could be hacked.
How does RFC support artists in the long term?
Artists earn RFC directly from fans — no middlemen, no fees taken from them. As more fans use RFC, its value may grow, giving artists the chance to see their tips today become worth more tomorrow. It’s not just a one-time payment — it’s ongoing support with long-term potential.
Can I use RFC in multiple countries?
Yes — RiffCoin is global. With our Wert integration, fans can buy RFC using debit or credit cards in over 200 countries and send it to any artist, anywhere.
How can I participate in the RFC community?
- Artists: Start accepting RiffCoin and let your fans know how to support you with it.
- Fans: Buy RFC, support your favorite artists, and encourage others to join — the more people use it, the stronger the community becomes.
Everyone plays a role in helping artists thrive long-term.
What are reflections in RFC?
Reflections are automatic rewards for holding RFC. Every time a transaction happens, 1% of it is shared among all RFC holders — the more you hold, the more you earn.
It’s a built-in way to reward loyalty and grow the community.
Can I mine RFC?
No — RFC can’t be mined. It’s a BEP-20 token on Binance Smart Chain, not a Proof-of-Work coin like Bitcoin.
RFC is earned and distributed through transactions and community engagement, mainly when fans support artists by tipping or paying with RFC.
